GAUDLITZ OPEN DAY A GREAT SUCCESS

On June 16th, 2012, an Open Day was held at the main GAUDLITZ production plant as part of the company's 75-year anniversary celebrations. Although the beautiful weather was more suited to lying by the swimming pool, an impressive 2000 visitors came to look around the administrative offices and the manufacturing facilities. They were also able to gather information from our professional staff about the technology we use and the future of the company. In addition to the many technical highlights on display, an original company film, which was produced in 1967 and is now a valuable piece of German industrial history, was particularly well received.

The idea of x-raying a kinder egg to demonstrate how our own Metrotom computer tomograph works went down very well with all the children who came to see us.
In addition to speeches held by company management and by Mr Norbert Kastner, Lord Mayor of Coburg, Mr Luis Rauch, the chief financial officer who represented H&R AG at the event, stressed the upward trend at GAUDLITZ.

Out in the company courtyard visitors to the Open Day were able to reflect on their tour of the factory and to enjoy local Coburg sausages in the afternoon sunshine.

We would like to thank all our visitors for attending our Open Day!
