Christmas, the time of love and peace is approaching. A time that is something special for the children in our country. But not every child has the possibility to celebrate Christmas the way others do. The quantity of disadvantaged children is constantly growing. More and more have to get along without a warm meal during the day.
For this reason, the management team of GAUDLITZ has decided to renounce from producing the cost-intensive calenders that have been donated as a Christmas gift to customers and business partners. Instead of this, an amount of 3000€ will be donated to an German institution that cares about children in need.
The money will be given to the project "breadbasket", initiated by the institution SOS-Kinderdorf e.V., who have set the aim for themselves to feed poor children with a warm meal once a day.
On Friday December 11, 2009 Jens Lübben, managing director of GAUDLITZ, and Sabrina Bär, marketing department, visited the office of SOS-Kinderdof in Munich in order to hand over the check to Mrs. Tanja Korn, representative of SOS-Kinderdorf.
