We are 100% behind our region and its people. It is therefore quite natural for us to take active responsibility.

Participate, promote, develop – move together.

As an original “Coburger”, we are closely linked to our main location and the region ever since we were established half a century ago. We are therefore aware of our social responsibility and are actively committed in a great variety of sport, education and social projects with a clear focus on sustainability.

We support ambitious sports clubs, create new opportunities by working with schools, universities and retraining courses. We are committed to those who really need help and where help is most worthwhile.

Training

We invest in new opportunities and qualifications.

As part of our training engagement, we closely collaborate with regional schools, the University of Coburg and the Management Institute of the Technical University of Nuremberg, in order to give new opportunities to young people by opening doors and providing the optimal prerequisites for undergoing high-quality training. Also important to us here is the working out of new concepts – together with students – for supporting the retraining projects of Berufsförderwerk (Professional Development Agency) Nuremberg and regular incorporation of candidates in our works.

Social matters

Helping those in our society who are in need

For many years now we have been supporting various social institutions, projects and relief organisations with a scheduled donations budget. For instance, there is the “Foundation for Children of Coburg suffering from cancer” – an organisation for children and their families that not only provides medical help, but also provides counselling and supports them with projects for improving their chances of healing and life quality. The list below provides some other examples of our social engagement in and around our region:
